WTAP stretching it a bit

Trying to show that Strickland's approval in Washington County is good, Todd Baucher has to stretch logic....even with the quotes for the interviews he conducted.

Yep, that's proof that uncle Ted has the "approval" of Washington County. And they wonder why no one takes the "news" seriously?

Washington County: Our School campuses are completely safe for armed criminals.

Dumb laws + no common sense in law enforcement = School campuses that are wide open and safe for armed criminals. There will be no armed resistance to a lunatic on a shooting spree.

And to prove that our campuses are safe for armed criminals, we'll arrest a boy for having a .22 pistol in his (locked) car (returning from target practice) (completely normal activity in Southeastern Ohio), in the parking lot. And on top of this, the boy is charged with a felony and had to spend the night in jail.

So, law enforcement is going to keep our school campuses completely unprotected. We don't want any private citizens defending themselves or others, you see.

You say it's against the "law" to have a firearm on school property(including parking lots). I wonder why the writers of the 2nd amendment didn't mention this restriction when they wrote it? We must be a lot smarter than they were!

We want to keep our school kids completely unprotected from armed criminals, then advertise our idiocy with actions / stories like this.

We read storied about Virginia Tech students wishing some of their classmates were armed to defend them from the mad man that killed 32 unarmed students.

We need a bounty (one was proposed awhile back) on these varmints. $100 ought to reduce the number. Once a predetermined number is attained, the bounty stops for the year.

Seems pretty simple.
