The Dispatch is usually better than this
Here they have a story about the GOP "securing" and "choosing" a candidate to run in the 18th US Congressional district.
Hmmm. Hasn't Jeanette Moll be campaigning for this office for some time now? Yet, according to the Dispatch....the GOP just now has found someone to run?
All one has to do is a Google search of 18th district candidates and you'll see that there was already a candidate.
It's bad enough that the GOP feels that the primary voters are not smart enough to choose our own candidates that they have choose them for us and spend the rest out of contention.......it's really bad when the Dispatch starts doing the GOP's work for them.
None of this is to say that Sen Gibbs would not be a great US Congressman for the 18th. It just seems that anytime the GOP (State GOP on RNC) gets involved we always end up with the less conservative candidate.....which is OK if you are a Bob Taft Republican. The 18th isn't filled with a bunch of flaming moderates, however.

Obama lies about abortion coverage in speech
LifeSiteNews.com story here.
Notice who casts a vote for abortion in this bill?....our Zach Space. The same Zach Space that pretends like he's a conservative at election time, but votes like a San Fransisco demokrat when in Washington.

Buckeye Firearms Association just as short sighted as the NRA
Why do neither the NRA or the Buckeye Firearms Association care that Zack Space just endorsed Lee Fisher for US Senate? Fisher being a past board member of Handgun Control Incorporated????
What am I missing here?

Zach Space represents San Francisco
Again, Zach Space lines up with San Fransisco Nancy Pelosi and votes with the liberals. He is no conservative, no matter what color dog he thinks he is.
It's clear that anytime Pelosi needs a vote from him, he's there for her. To heck with his constituents! He represents San Francisco's values much better than the 18th district.

Here he votes to pay for illegal alien's health care with your tax money!
Then he votes to abort babies with your tax money!
This guy needs to go.

Don't be fooled, Space is no moderate...neither is Wilson
“The Blue Dog caucus represents a significant and effective check against the dangers of extremism when it comes to party politics,” said Blue Dog Rep. Zack Space (D-OH). “We understand that the left wing of our party doesn’t have it right all of the time. We understand that the Republican party doesn’t have it wrong all the time.”
Speaking of extremism....what is voting for the cap and tax bill if not extreme. The largest tax increase in US history is moderation?
Space is no moderate and neither is Comrade Wilson.
Apparently they are taking turns pretending to be conservatives. Space voted for the cap and tax bill while Bolshevik Charlie opposed it. Now Wilson supports the health care / taxpayer funding of abortions bill and Space is beating his chest like he's really standing up for his constituents....after the cap and tax vote, of course.
These two are lunatics that don't represent the values of southeastern Ohio.

Jackson County times passes off Space press release as "news"
The media apparently do not care why no one reads or listens to them anymore. Whatever happened to equal time?
Here the Jackson County Times has a story obviously written by Space's staff being passed off as news. You'd think they'd at least have the journalistic integrity (I know it's an oxymoron) to state the fact that this is a news release.
"Standing up for the needs of his constituents, Congressman Zack Space (OH-18) welcomed the passage of the legislation that funds the ARC at a higher level than last year."
"Space has consistently defended the ARC."
"He is working to restore integrity to the office and create the conditions to bring new industry and jobs to Ohio."
The last one is the best. This from the political hack that just voted against his own district's interests by voting for the cap and tax job killing bill.

Pro-abortion Zach Space
Zach Space votes 100% pro death on July 16th. What is this guy doing representing the 18th district? He votes like he represents some Massachusetts district.
Press release from Ohio Right to Life
U.S. House Approves Tax Funding of D.C. Abortions
The House Rules Committee had adopted a rule (H. Res. 644) governing consideration of the bill that did not permit a vote on an amendment to retain the funding ban. The House approved that rule on a narrow 216-213 vote.
A pro-life motion to recommit H.R. 3170 to committee with instructions to reinstate the funding ban was offered. The motion to recommit was ruled out of order. That ruling was appealed, but the sponsor of the bill moved to table (kill) the appeal. On a vote of 225-195, the motion to table the appeal was approved.
1) APPROVAL OF RULE - Those Ohio Representatives who voted the PRO-LIFE position AGAINST H.Res. 644 were: Steve Austria, John Boccieri, John Boehner, Steve Driehaus, Jim Jordan, Steve LaTourette, Bob Latta, Jean Schmidt, Pat Tiberi, Mike Turner, and Charlie Wilson (11).
Those Ohio Representatives who voted the PRO-ABORTION position FOR H.Res. 644 were: Marcia Fudge, Marcy Kaptur, Mary Jo Kilroy, Dennis Kucinich, Tim Ryan, Zach Space, and Betty Sutton (7).
2) MOTION TO RECOMMIT - Those Ohio Representatives who voted the PRO-LIFE position AGAINST tabling the appeal of the ruling that the motion to recommit was out of order were: Steve Austria, John Boccieri, John Boehner, Steve Driehaus, Jim Jordan, Steve LaTourette, Bob Latta, Jean Schmidt, Pat Tiberi, and Mike Turner (10).
Those Ohio Representatives who voted the PRO-ABORTION position TO table the appeal were: Marcia Fudge, Marcy Kaptur, Mary Jo Kilroy, Dennis Kucinich, Tim Ryan, Zach Space, Betty Sutton, and Charlie Wilson (8).
3) FINAL PASSAGE OF H.R. 3170 - Those Ohio Representatives who voted the PRO-LIFE position AGAINST H.R. 3170 were: Steve Austria, John Boccieri, John Boehner, Steve Driehaus, Jim Jordan, Bob Latta, Jean Schmidt, Pat Tiberi, Mike Turner, and Charlie Wilson (10).

Here come the canned letters to the editors supporting Space
Newark Advocate
This bill is investing more than $100 billion dollars in clean coal technology, thanks in large part to Congressman Space."
Chillicothe Gazette
These are just two. You'd think that they'd at least try to change the form letters and add their own words.
So Zach Space voted to ensure our energy independence and actually help the coal industry? What planet are these people on?
How is voting to increase costs for businesses that use coal going to help the coal industry?
How is increasing our cost of living due to increased electricity rates, higher gas prices...to name a few, a good thing?
What is really going to hammer folks in Ohio and West Virginia the most is the increased electricity costs. Now we can use cheap energy buried directly under us. By increasing the costs to mine and burn coal, our electricity rates will increase. No one knows how much.
Zach Space voted to increase your cost of living and at the same time increase unemployment in his own district by harming a major employer, coal.
Dumb! Just what did Nancy Pelosi promise him to make him vote against his own district's interests?
As for the letter writers telling the world that Zach Space voted for this monstrosity of a bill....please keep it up.
"My congressman, Zack Space, has been particularly hard hit by the criticism for voting "yes" on the American Clean Energy and Security Act, and I think it's unjust.
Chillicothe Gazette
"Once again, Congressman Zack Space has stood up for us by voting for an energy bill that will help begin the process of securing our nation's energy independence.
Space voted for this legislation because it secures a future for Ohio's coal industry. By investing more than $100 billion in clean coal technology, Ohio will be a leader in energy production thanks to our coal industry."These are just two. You'd think that they'd at least try to change the form letters and add their own words.

Thank Charlie Wilson for a "courageous vote"? Give me a break!
Don't you love mass emails? Even from Conservative groups?
Here's one from American Solutions....whom I agree with most of the time.
This time they want us to "thank" our Congressman Charlie Wilson for his "courageous vote".
Isn't this akin to thanking someone for stopping at a stop light? His no vote is an expectation, not a "courageous vote".
First of all, how is it "courageous" to vote for the best interests of your district? I thought that was part of the job description.
While we acknowledged Wilson's no vote here, and it was the correct vote.....Charlie Wilson has voted the wrong way multiple times, voting to increase our debt exponentially is his worst trait.....then watching him take that funny money while traveling the district, tossing it around like...well a politician buying votes, is sickening.
So, American Solutions, don't expect a letter to the editor from me.
Zach Space is a different matter. This guy can't even vote against this one job killing, electric rate hiking bill that directly negatively impacts the residents in his district.
Both of these gentlemen need a new line of work, Zach Space should look for work outside his district. He should not compete with the rest of us for the declining number of jobs in his district after he voted to kill many, many jobs.
"Even though the National Energy Tax narrowly passed the House 219-212, your member of Congress, Charles A. Wilson courageously voted "no" against this job-killing bill. In fact, he was one of 44 Democrats who voted "no."
Let's send a loud message to Congressman Wilson and thank him for standing up for his constituents and not caving in to Speaker Pelosi and the left-wing special interests.
Here's his phone number to call and thank him: 740-376-0868.
After you give him a call, please write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper to help spread the word about Congressman Wilson's courageous vote. When Congressman Wilson makes a principled vote, he needs to hear from his constituents that they support his decision.
Click here for some talking points to help you craft your thank you letter to the editor.
Thank you for making your voice heard.

Space says one thing then votes another
"Space feels the bill will help America move in the direction of energy independence."
Um, why then, would you vote to limit the use of our own energy? Why would you vote to increase business costs?
This guy is clueless!
