"Meigs County is home to four coal-fired power plants" The real answer is "Meigs County is home to ZERO coal-fired power plants"

Pretty substantial discrepancy.

Could be a true statement, however this is more true..... the vast majority of Meigs county citizens support the AMP power plant. All Meigs County elected officials support it as well. A few local citizens are against the power plant, but most opposition is from outside radicals that want no coal burned in the US.

Another group of outsiders against jobs in Meigs County.

Here's Elisa Young, again, leading a "Toxic Tour" of Meigs County. These folks are from Cleveland, Cincinnati and Columbus.

Yet, every elected official in Meigs County is in favor of the AMP plant.

One would think that the voters of Meigs, through their elected representatives, could make up their own minds on this issue without outside agitators.

It's nice to know that Cleveland based anti-jobs Ohio Citizen Action cares so much about Meigs county that they want to keep us poor.

There's no one on their board that is even from Meigs county..........or even a neighboring county.

AMP, opponents disagree over ‘false’ statements

"LETART FALLS — American Municipal Power-Ohio has taken issue with two opponents of their $3.25 billion power plant after what it feels are “multiple false statements” about the project allegedly made by Elisa Young of Racine and Meigs Citizen Action Now, and Sandy Buchanan, executive director of Ohio Citizen Action."
